Numismatic Crime Information Center Shield

The Numismatic Crime Information Center, NCIC, is looking for the public’s help in identifying two thieves who stole $60,000-$70,000 in gold coins. The suspects, a male and a female, stole the coins from Willard Coin Exchange in Mansfield, Ohio.

After the male suspect requesting to see gold coins from a cabinet, he joined the female suspect in milling about the store. When the store became busy, they gained access to the gold coins cabinet and took the coinage. Fortunately some of it had been graded so those coins are more easy to identify. Unfortunately, not all the coins had been graded so the public is asked to be weary of gold coins for sale.
