Reminder – Frank Church River of No Return Quarter Launches November 6

A friendly reminder for the fifth and final America the Beautiful Quarter for 2019 launch event coming next week. The Frank Church River of No Return quarter will officially be launched on November 6 in Salmon, Idaho.

The release ceremony will take place at the Salmon Junior-Senior High School, 401 South Warpath, Salmon, Idaho. The event will start at 10:00 am Mountain Time.

At the event on the fifth, attendees will have the opportunity to do a coin exchange to pick up rolls of the new River of No Return quarters. There is a minimum of one roll purchase with a maximum of up to 10 rolls.

From 5:00 to 6:00 PM on November 5, 2019, the United States Mint will be hosting a coin forum for visitors. It will be held at the Sacajawea Center at 2700 Main Street in Salmon. Here attendees can learn about the upcoming coin programs directly from the Mint.

The River of No Return Wilderness is located in Idaho and made up of mountains, canyons and whitewater rivers. In the wilderness is where you will find the Salmon River and Middle Fork of the Salmon River. The area is often referred to as Frank Church in honor of the U.S. Senator who lead the effort for preserving the wilderness. The area is the largest single connected wilderness in the lower-48 of the United States.

The Mint will begin offering rolls and bags of the Frank Church River of No Return 2019 quarters through their online store on November 4.  Find more information at www.usmint.gov.
