The final American the Beautiful product for 2019 will go on sale next week. The 3-coin Frank Church River of No Return set will be available directly from the United States Mint for $9.95. As with previous 3-coin sets in the series, there will be no household limit to the number that can be purchased, nor is there a production limit.
The set will contain the latest American the Beautiful quarter from each of the Mint’s production facilities. That is, an Uncirculated sample from the Philadelphia and Denver Mints while a Proof sample will be provided from the San Francisco Mint. The coins will come encapsulated in a placard with the Certificate of Authenticity printed on the back.
The release of this set follows the release of the rolls and bags of the quarters earlier this month as well as the five-ounce coin two weeks ago. At a comfortable price point, this 3-coin set is a great gift idea for new collectors and make them easy to add to your own collection.
The River of No Return Wilderness is located in Idaho and made up of mountains, canyons and whitewater rivers. In the wilderness is where you will find the Salmon River and Middle Fork of the Salmon River. The area is often referred to as Frank Church in honor of the U.S. Senator who lead the effort for preserving the wilderness. The area is the largest single connected wilderness in the lower-48 of the United States.
