Sales Women’s Suffrage Commemorative Coins Begins Today

The United States Mint will begin selling the Women’s Suffrage Centennial commemorative products starting today. Sales of the 2020 commemorative’s line up of products will begin promptly at Noon Eastern, 9:00 AM Pacific. In all, there will be three different products available to honor the centennial of women’s rights to vote. The United States Mint has released the pricing scheduled for the upcoming Women’s Suffrage Centennial Commemorative products in July and these commemorative products are expected to sell well.

The United States Mint’s 2020 Women’s Suffrage Centennial Silver Dollar celebrates the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment’s ratification with a distinctive silver dollar coin marking a signature achievement in our Nation’s history. By giving millions of women citizens the right to vote, it profoundly changed our Nation by moving it closer to its promise of inclusion and equality. These inspirational designs not only pay homage to the Amendment’s adoption, they also honor the many pioneers, activists, and foot soldiers in the movement who fought bravely and tenaciously for decades to make it a reality.

The Silver Proof Dollar commemorative is set to be priced at $69.00. It is a 99.999% pure silver coin with a proof finish minted in Philadelphia. There is a limit of 400,000 of these to be available across all Mint products with the coin in it. There is, however, no household limit on the number you can purchase.

Next is the Women’s Suffrage Centennial 2020 Proof Silver Dollar and Medal Set. Only 10,000 of these sets will be made and there is a household limit of one set. It will be priced at $120.

Finally there is the Uncirculated Silver Dollar. It will be priced at $64.00. Like the Proof version of the coin, 400,000 of these will be minted with no household purchase limit in place.

You can use the links above to go to the specific products you are interested in for this Commemorative series. Note that before Noon Eastern, you can setup the “Remind Me” feature to get an email or text message when the products go on sale.

With silver continuing to be a hot commodity as the United States and indeed the world struggles with the COVID-19 pandemic, these prices from the Mint actually make these commemoratives a good deal when you take the spot price of silver into consideration. At the time of this post, silver was trading at just over $28 per ounce.
