2020 Uncirculated Mint Set Sales Start November 30

The United States Mint will begin sales of the 2020 Uncirculated Mint set, the penultimate annual product for the Mint this year, next week. Sales will begin at Noon Eastern, 9:00 AM Pacific directly from the Mint on its site. This year, the Uncirculated Set is priced at $25.25. The set has no mintage limit given that it consists of circulating coins, however, there is a production limit of these sets of 213,000. When sales begin, there is no household limit on the number that can be purchased.

Additionally, the 2020 Uncirculated Mint set is eligible for the Mint’s Enrollment Program, which you can sign up for to assure you get the set.

While the coins in the Uncirculated Set are circulating coins, they are struck with more pressure which brings out the details of the coins in greater clarity. The set comes in two folders, one for Denver and one for Philadelphia, with each folder containing 10 coins. The coins included:

Originally, the Mint had planned to include a special 2020-W Jefferson Nickel in Uncirculated condition with this year’s sets, much like they did with the 2019-W Lincoln Cent. However, due to COVID-19 and the significant impact on the Mint’s production this year, that plan has been abandoned.
