The United States Mint will begin sales of the 2021 Happy Birthday Coin Set next Tuesday, January 5, 2021. The set, which includes the five circulating coins of the United States in Proof condition, will go on sale at Noon Eastern, 9:00 AM Pacific. This year, the price of the set is $25.00, up slightly from last year’s set.
The set comes in a folder that allows for you to write your own personalized birthday greeting and allows for the Obverse and Reverse of each coin to be seen in their encapsulations in the folder. The coins included in the set are as follows:
- Kennedy Half Dollar
- Tuskegee Airmen National Historic Site Quarter
- Roosevelt Dime
- Jefferson Nickel
- Lincoln Cent
As has been the case for previous Happy Birthday Coin Sets, there will be no mintage or production limit for it. Further, there is no household limit on the number of sets that can be purchased. Collectors will quickly recognized that this is one of two early Mint products that will contain the last of the America the Beautiful Quarters, honoring the Tuskegee Airmen National Historic Site.
