The Tuskegee Airmen were a group of primarily African-American military pilots (fighter and bomber) and airmen who fought in World War II. They formed the 332nd Expeditionary Operations Group and the 477th Bombardment Group of the United States Army Air Forces. The name also applies to the navigators, bombardiers, mechanics, instructors, crew chiefs, nurses, cooks and other support personnel.

With this Quarter being a circulating coin product, there will be no household limit on the number of sets that you can purchase. Further, there is no mintage limit so the sets should remain available throughout 2021. The 3-coin set is part of the Mint’s Enrollment Program scheme which will make sure that you get the number of sets you want when they are released without having to actually go to the Mint’s site to order them.
