2021 Limited Edition Silver Proof Set Sales Begin Today

The United States Mint will begin sales of the 2021 Limited Edition Silver Proof Set starting today. Sales will begin on the Mint’s website at Noon Eastern, 9:00 AM Pacific. The set, priced at $235, consists of six coins, all of which are minted in 99% silver. Only 50,000 of the sets will be made available with a household limit of one set when sales begin next week.

Each coin is struck in 99.9% fine silver and has a brilliant proof finish. Proof coins have mirror-like backgrounds and frosted foregrounds, giving them a special cameo effect. They receive the highest quality strikes possible and are distinguished by their sharpness of detail. The coins in this set are placed in presentation lenses to showcase and preserve their exceptional finish.

This year, the Limited Edition Silver Proof Set will consist of the following coins:

The coins in the set will come in individual lenses (holders) and the entire set comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from the United States Mint.

The $235 price tag is a slight increase from the 2020 set, which was priced at $201 but the presentation case, as has been the case with most of the releases this year, is far less presentation worthy.
