For the first time since the program’s introduction in 2018, the American Innovation Dollar Enrollment Programs are now completely sold out and closed. The Mint made the announcement via an email to customers, which means that on release days of the upcoming American Innovation Dollar coins, virtually none will be available on release day.
To be clear, the announcement impacts the American Innovation Dollar Enrollment 100-Coin bags from both Philadelphia and Denver, as well as the 25-Coin rolls from the same production Mint facilities.
The 2022 American Innovation $1 Coin 100-Coin Bag (P), American Innovation $1 Coin 100-Bag (D), American Innovation $1 Coin 25-Coin Roll (P), and American Innovation $1 Coin 25-Coin Roll (D) inventories have all been depleted. This marks the first time in U.S. Mint history that all American Innovation $1 Coins have been depleted through enrollments. The Proof Set and Reverse Proof Set of the coins are still available through the Enrollment Programs. To sign up for those, head to this link.
The next American Innovation Dollar scheduled to be released honors Vermont and will be released on April 14th. On release day, for those not in the Enrollment programs for the bags or rolls, you can expect virtually none to be available for purchase. The Mint is encouraging customers to use the Remind Me feature on the Mint’s product page to be notified when more become available.
