The United States Mint has released its weekly numismatic sales report for the seven-day period ending on Sunday, July 31, 2022. The report covers the previous seven days in numismatic product sales by the Mint and is separate from the bullion sales report. This week’s report shows that the Mint sold 18,617 numismatic products to collectors and investors. This total is nearly double the sales reported in last week’s report.

Of the top ten selling products for the United States Mint last week, seven of them are 2022 releases. Sales were led by the 2022 Proof Set. The Mint reported that 6,619 sets were sold, pushing total sales since its release to just under 300,000 (299,681). The second top seller was the recently released 2022 Uncirculated Coin Set with 3,012 sets sold in the last week. Rounding out the top three was the premium 2022 Silver Proof Set. The Mint reported that 2,759 of these sets were sold in the past week.

The fourth top seller was the uncirculated silver 2022-W American Eagle with 1,194 coins sold. Rounding out the top five was last year’s Proof Set with 530 sets sold as it continues to remain available from the Mint.
