The United States Mint has updated its weekly sales report for the seven day period ending Sunday, October 9, 2022. The report covers the previous seven days in numismatic product sales by the Mint and is separate from the bullion sales report. This week’s report shows that the Mint had reported sales of 11,741 numismatic products to collectors, bringing total sales of the year to 11,073,994 products.

Taking the top sales position, and returning to the top seller position after two weeks, is the 2022 Proof Set. The Mint reported that 3,842 of the annual sets were sold in the last week. That puts its total sales since its release earlier this year at 359,347. Meanwhile, the Mint’s latest release, the Franklin Pierce Presidential Silver Medal, was the second top seller. The Mint’s data shows that 1,180 of the one-ounce medals were sold in the last week, putting total sales at 12,742. Rounding out the top three in sales was another annual set, the 2022 Uncirculated Coin Set. 1,122 of the uncirculated sets were sold in the past week. That puts its total sales for 2022 at 185,979.
