The United States Mint has released its weekly Numismatic Product Sales Report for the seven days ending March 12, 2023. The report covers numismatic product sales by the Mint, such as commemorative coins and annual sets. It is separate from the bullion sales report.

According to this week’s report, the United States Mint sold 22,157 numismatic products to collectors in the past week. This is down considerably from last week’s report, which was skewed by the release of the 2023-W American Eagle silver proof. That coin remained the top seller for the Mint last week, leading all sales with 19,199 coins sold. The Mint’s newest product, the 2.5-ounce United States Army silver medal was the second top seller. The Mint reported that 9,564 of the 10,000 medals available were sold last week. Reviewing the Mint’s site today, the medal is no longer available for purchase, suggesting all have now been sold. Rounding out the top there was the 2023 American Eagle Platinum Proof for the Freedom of Press. 5,16 of these premium coins were sold, putting total sales at 5,847 since its release two weeks ago. This coin remains available from the Mint.

Here is the breakdown of the top ten selling numismatic products for the United States Mint last week.
