The United States Mint has released its Circulating Coin Production Report for March 2024. The report shows that the United States Mint produced just 332.7 million coins in March, its lowest monthly production since December 2023, and the lowest total for March in six years. The United States Mint has updated its daily bullion sales report through Sunday, April 14, 2024. The bullion sales report reflects bullion American Eagle and American Buffalo coins that the Mint sold to Authorized Purchasers for the previous week and is different than the weekly numismatic product report. The United States Mint has opened sales of the Alabama American Innovation Dollar. The dollar coin, the second in the American Innovation Dollar series for 2024, yesterday afternoon on the Mint’s site. As has been the case with previous American Innovation Dollar releases, the Alabama coin has household purchase and production limits.
