The United States Mint has released high resolution images of all of the 2022 circulating coins on its site. The images, which are available to the public, can be found here on the Mint’s site. While anyone can download the images, using them for publications – such as USCoinNews – have strict guidelines that must be followed.
At the link above, you can find additional links to all of the 2022 circulating coins. This includes all the coins you normally find in your pocket change such as the Lincoln Cent, Jefferson Nickel, Roosevelt Dime, and Kennedy half dollar. Separately, you will find a link to the images for the new American Women Quarter Program and the Native American dollar. Indeed, the only coins that will be released this year that the Mint has not provided high resolution images of are the American Innovation Dollars.
The Mint has guidelines that must be followed for publication of these images. These guidelines can be found here and I encourage you to read them before using them for your own site or publication. The key items in the guidelines are that you cannot modify the image in any way and you need to give proper credit the Mint as the source of the image (note above in the caption I have “Image Courtesy of The United States Mint”. This will work or you can simply put “Mint Image”)
