The United States Mint has updated its daily bullion sales report through Sunday, April 2, 2023. The bullion sales report reflects bullion American Eagle and American Buffalo coins that the Mint sold to Authorized Purchasers for the previous week and is different than the weekly numismatic product report. The Mint reported 69,500 bullion coin sales to Authorized Purchasers last week, with sales reported on just one American Eagle product, and the American Buffalo one-ounce gold coin.
The only American Eagle product to have reported sales this week was the one-ounce gold American Eagle. According to the Mint’s report, 54,000 of the coins were sold last week. That puts its total sales at 370,500 for 2023. Meanwhile, the American Buffalo was the only other product with reported sales, with 15,500 one-ounce gold Buffalos sold in the week. That puts its total sales at 151,500 for the year.
