United States Mint Numismatic Product Sales Report – August 6, 2023

The United States Mint has released its weekly Numismatic Product Sales Report for the seven days ending Sunday, August 6, 2023. The report covers numismatic product sales by the Mint, such as commemorative coins and annual sets. It is separate from the bullion sales report. According to the Mint’s report, 8,104 numismatic products were sold in the past week to collectors and investors.

Last week’s top-selling product for the United States Mint was the 2023 Proof Set. According to the Mint’s report, 4,219 sets were sold to collectors and investors last week. With those sales considered, the Mint now reports that 239,766 Proof Sets for 2023 have been sold. Surprisingly, the second top seller was the 2-Roll Set of the 2022 Tuskegee Airmen American the Beautiful Quarter. The Mint reported 1,636 of the 2-roll sets were sold last week, outpacing the third top seller, the uncirculated silver 2023-W American Eagle, by nearly 100 pieces. Rounding out the top five where the 2022 Unicruclated Coin Set (360) and the 2023 Congratulations Set (272).
