The 2019 Board of Governors election for the American Numismatic Association (ANA) has gone live. Voting is happening through printed ballots which have been mailed to eligible ANA members as well as online at the ANA site.
To vote, members must be 13 years old or older as of March 31, 2019. Additionally, they must have been a member of the association for at least one year as of March 31, 2019. ANA Member Clubs also get a vote as an entity.
Whether you vote online or you use your paper ballot, biographical information of all of the candidates are available for you to review to help make your decision. In 2019 the terms of all nine officers will expire. Those elected will be installed at the American Numismatic Association 128th Anniversary Convention in Chicago, IL August 16, 2019 and will compose the Board of Governors for the next two years. That will take place at the ANA’s World’s Fair that is happening at the same time in Chicago.
Voting closes at 11:59 pm on July 1, 2019. All ballots must be received by that time or they will not be counted.
The American Numismatic Association is a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating and encouraging people to study and collect coins and related items. The Association serves the academic community, collectors and the general public with an interest in numismatics.
