The United States Mint has released the 2020 Production Schedule of coins and Numismatic collectibles set for release next year. Indeed things start off rapidly, with the first collectible, the 2020 Birth Set, scheduled to be released on January 3, 2020.
The Production Schedule can be found here on the Mint’s site. You will see that you can find descriptions of all product although images of them remain unavailable currently. Also, many dates beyond the Summer of 2020 remain “TBD”. This is a common practice and the Mint will update this page once firm production and release dates are determined.
Like 2019, the year 2020 looks to be a very busy one for the Mint. The penultimate year of the America The Beautiful series will be minted next year while four new American Innovation Dollars are also set to be released. We will, of course, have the normal bullion coins, American Eagles, and a wide range of Presidential and other medals offered throughout the year.
Overall the Mint is very good with keeping with this production schedule. In all of 2019, only once was the scheduled release date of a product altered. That means you can start budgeting for your purchases now and know that they are all-but assured to be released on time.
Finally, there is no reason to wait. For those products you are wanting to purchase, you can go ahead and sign up for the “Remind Me” feature to get an email or text notification when they become available. That way you don’t forget later.
