The seventh Presidential Silver Medal honoring President Andrew Jackson is set to go on sale next week. The 99.9% pure silver medal honoring the 7th President of the United States will go on sale at Noon Eastern, 9:00 AM Pacific on Monday, February 24, 2020. This year, the medal is priced at $46.00.
Andrew Jackson was the seventh U.S. President serving from 1829 to 1837. He served as a major general in the War of 1812 and became a national hero when he defeated the British in New Orleans.

The medal measures 1.6 inches in diameter and has the common Reverse of all of the previous Presidential Medals. That reverse features two hands clasped as a show of unity. The Obverse will feature a portrait of Andrew Jackson that was designed and engraved by Moritz Furst.
As with previous Presidential Silver Medal releases, there is no mintage or production limit on them nor is there a household limit on your purchase. However, the Jackson medal will only be available in 2020.
