The United States Mint will begin sales of the America the Beautiful Quarters 2020 Uncirculated Coin Set today. The 10-coin set is priced at $16 and includes uncirculated specimens of all the 2020 America the Beautiful Quarters from the Denver and Philadelphia Mints.
Sales will begin at Noon Eastern, 9:00 AM Pacific. There are no mintage or production limits on the set nor is there a household limit on the number of sets you can purchase. You can order your set directly from the Mint here.
As a reminder, the 2020 America the Beautiful Quarters are for these historic or national parks:
- National Park of American Samoa
- Weir Farm National Historic Site
- Salt River Bay National Historical Park and Ecological Preserve
- Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park
- Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve
The sets will come in a folding placards with the coins details and specifications on the inside of the flip. Each coin is clearly marked with the historical site that it represents. There is also a certificate of authenticity from the Mint included on the placard.
2020 will be the last full year of production for the American the Beautiful Quarter series. Only one coin is slated for release in 2021.
The Mint has given no indication that there will be production challenges or shipping challenges with these sets as the COVID-19 pandemic continues. Mint Director Ryder emailed customers yesterday that product and shipment delays could happen in the future. It is likely that products slated for April and May will feel the brunt of those delays.
