The American Numismatic Society (ANS) has announced that the next lecture in the Money Talks lecture series will be held on June 27, 2020 at 1:00 PM Eastern/10:00 AM Pacific. The lecture will be covering updates that have been taking place in the Newman Portal.
The Newman Numismatic Portal is an online numismatic library that holds over 40,000 items. This presentation will provide an overview of the collection and in particular discuss activities at the ANS library. The Newman Portal is administered by Washington University in St. Louis, with funding from the Eric P. Newman Numismatic Education Society, and maintains scanning operations at Washington University, ANS, and the National Archives & Records Administration. Len Augsburger, NNP Project Coordinator and ANS Fellow, will present.

Access to the Newman Portal is available to everyone by following the link mentioned above in the statement from the ANS. There you will find a wealth of books, coin images and other Numismatic items to research and study.
Access to the Money Talks series is limited to ANS members. The lecture series, which are now held via a webinar, gives members of the society unique insights and updates to Numismatic projects, finds, and research from some of the top Numismatist in the world.
