The following is a Press Release from Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC) announcing new fees for coin grading services. These new prices will go into effect in April 2021 and all submissions on or after April 1, 2021 will be priced at these new rates and should include the updated submission form.
The new pricing reflects a $1-3 per coin price increase for grading depending on the service selected. For example, the Modern fee has gone from $17 to $18 per coin while the Early Bird/Standard service has increased from $35 to $38 per coin.
Numismatic Guaranty Corporation® (NGC®) has made a few changes to its submission forms and fees effective April 1, 2021. A full list of changes for submissions to the US office is below:
NGC Grading Tiers and Services
- Early Bird/Standard: fee changed to $38
- Specialty Gold: fee changed to $38
- Gold – US: fee changed to $30
- Modern: fee changed to $18
- ReHolder: fee changed to $13

Updated submission forms and price sheets reflecting these changes will be available April 1 on the NGC website. All coins received by NGC after April 1, 2021, should be accompanied by the new submission form.
Reminder that for non-bulk submissions, the maximum number of coins per submission form is 50. Use multiple submission forms as needed. For bulk submissions, the minimum number of coins per submission form is 100.
