The United States Mint will begin sales of the 2021 Silver Proof Set starting next week on April 22, 2021. Sales will begin on the Mint’s website at Noon Eastern, 9:00 AM Pacific and the set represents the second annual set of coins released by the Mint this year. The standard Proof Set was released last month.
The 2021 Silver Proof Set has seen a substantial price increase over the 2020 set. This year, the 7-coin set will be $105.00, up from the $63.25 a year ago. The price increase is almost exclusively to the astronomical rise of silver prices in the past year and increased costs in production.
For those not familiar with the Silver Proof Set, contains the same coins as the standard Proof Set. However, the Roosevelt Dime, Washington Quarters, and Kennedy Half Dollar are all composed of 99.9% silver. Here is the complete list of coins that will come in this set:
- 2021-S Lincoln Cent
- 2021-S Jefferson Nickel
- 2021-S Roosevelt Dime (99.9% silver)
- 2021-S Tuskegee Airmen America the Beautiful Quarter (99.9% silver)
- 2021-S Crossing the Delaware Reverse Washington Quarter (99.9% silver)

The sets will remain available throughout the year so if you can’t pick it up now, you should be able to later in 2021. The set is also eligible for the Enrollment Program.
