The 2021 American Innovation Dollar Proof Set will be available from the United States Mint later today. Sales of the four-coin set will start at Noon Eastern, 9:00 AM Pacific. The set will feature a Proof of each of the American Innovation Dollars released this year, honoring New Hampshire, Virginia, New York, and North Carolina.
This year, the set is priced at $24.00, which is the same price as last year’s set.

The 2021 American Innovation $1 Coin Proof Set features four stunning coins encased in a clear plastic lens in a beautifully designed package. This celebration of significant American innovations and/or innovators and pioneering efforts of individuals or groups in New Hampshire, Virginia, New York, and North Carolina will make a great addition to any collection or the perfect gift for a special occasion.

Although the American Innovation Dollar is not released into general circulation, the Mint considers the coin a circulation coin. Therefore, there will be no production or mintage limits of this proof set. Further, when purchasing the set, there are no household limits on the number that you can purchase. The set should remain available throughout the rest of 2021.
2021 represents the fourth year for the American Innovation Dollar series and the third full time year. 2018 saw the initial coin in the series released while 2019 -2021 saw the standard four released. The series is slated to go through 2032 with a total of 57 coins to be minted. None of the coins will be released for general circulation.
