The final annual product from the United States Mint goes on sale today. The 2021 American Innovation Dollar Reverse Proof Set will go on sale at the normal time of Noon Eastern, 9:00 AM Pacific. This year, the price is set at $28.00 for the four-coin set. There is a production limit of 50,000 sets and a household limit of 5 sets.
As reported earlier, the Mint has moved the 2021 A.I. Reverse Proof coins to a set rather than selling them individually as they did in 2018-2020. This year, all four of the Reverse Proof coins will be sold in a single lens, much like the American Innovation Proof Set. The move is likely cut down overall costs of individually packaging up these coins but also likely to help bolster sales too. The Reverse Proof coins for the series have traditionally sold well, usually selling out within a few weeks after release as they were limited in production. The same likely will hold true for this new product that will contain all four Reverse Proof coins for 2021.
The four-coin set will have the common Obverse featuring the Statue of Liberty. You will then have the four 2021 American Innovation Dollars released this year:
- New Hampshire
- Virginia
- New York
- North Carolina
For those readers who have been enrolled in the American Innovation Reverse Proof Enrollment Program in previous years are still enrolled. Indeed, readers should check their email as they likely have received confirmation from the Mint this morning that their order has been received.
