The United States Mint will begin sales of the 2022 Uncirculated Coin Set start today. Sales will begin at their usual time of Noon Eastern, 9:00 AM Pacific on the Mint’s website. This year, the Mint has set a production limit of just 250,000 sets. The sets are priced at $25.25 each and while there is a production limit, there is not a household limit on the number of sets you can purchase.
The United States Mint does offer an Enrollment Program for the Uncirculated Coin Set, which will assure that you receive your set prior to sales opening to the general public. It also gives you the added benefit of free shipping on the set when it is released. To get more details, follow this link to the program’s enrollment page. If you are enrolled in the program for the Uncirculated Coin Set, check your account on the Mint’s site as you should see that it is being processed.
The 2022 Uncirculated set will contain an impressive 20 coins, ten from the Denver Mint and ten from the Philadelphia Mint. This will include the five American Women Quarter Program releases set for this year. The sets will come in two placards, one from each Mint facility, with a flip-cover to allow for easy viewing of both the Obverse and Reverse of each coin.
