The United States Mint has updated its website today, reflecting the 2023 product schedule. Although specific dates are only provided for January and February of next year, the 2023 product schedule is packed. According to the schedule, fifty products are set to be released by the United States Mint in 2023.
The first product scheduled to be release are the bags and rolls for the Ohio American Innovation Dollar. Those products are set to be released on January 30, 2023. These are followed up by the bags and rolls for the 2023 Native American Dollar, which honors Maria Tallchief, the next week on February 6, 2023.
Other highlights of next year’s schedule include:
- Five American Women Quarter Program Releases
- Abraham Lincoln Presidential Silver Medal
- United States Army 2.5-Ounce Silver Medal
- Uncirculated Morgan and Peace Dollars
- Proof Morgan and Peace Dollars
- 2-Coin Morgan and Peace Dollars Reverse Proof Set
Interestingly, there are no commemorative products on the schedule at the time of this article. There has been some debate on if the Mint would release any commemoratives in 2023 due to an already busy schedule and the lack of planchets for coinage. At least, for now, that seems to be the case.
As is always the case, the release schedule can shift based on bullion availability and other circumstances. Readers are advised that the release schedule is a guide, not necessarily set in stone.
