The United States Mint has published high-resolution images for the upcoming 2024 American Innovation Dollar coins. 2024 represents the seventh year for the non-circulating dollar coin program and honors four states’ contributions to American culture and society.
The American Innovation Dollar coin came about through legislation passed in 2018 and is set to run through 2032. There will be 57 coins released in the program, with the first one released on December 14, 2018. However, that coin was an introductory coin to show the coin off to the public and was never released for circulation. So far, the Mint has released 22 of the planned 57 coins. Collectors can buy the coins directly from the Mint in the form of bags, rolls, and annual Proof and Reverse Proof sets.
