The United States Mint will hold a rare sale this week. Discounts of up to 30% will be offered on over 30 different products, including silver, gold, and clad products. The sale will begin at Noon Eastern on Thursday, September 19, and will go through Wednesday, September 25 at Noon Eastern.
According to the Mint’s email sent to customers, it will be offering the following discounts:
- 30% Off select Silver Coins including Silver Proof Sets and America the Beautiful Uncirculated Five Ounce Silver Coins!
- 20% Off select Gold Coins including a Coin of the Year Award winning design with our 2018 American Liberty One-Tenth Ounce Gold Proof Coin and the 2019 American Eagle Gold Proof Four-Coin Set featuring the original reverse!
- Up to 30% Off select Clad Coin Sets including Uncirculated Coin Sets and American Innovation $1 Coin Sets!
In the email sent to customers, there was no indication provided that there will be a purchase limit for customers. If it is like previous sales from the Mint, discounts will be offered on the selected products until the available stock is depleted.
It is worth mentioning that sales during this event are final. The mint will not accept any returns on purchased products.
While sales by the United States Mint are rare, they are not unheard of. Back in November 2023, the Mint had what it called a “vault sale.”
