The following is a press release from Professional Coin Grading Service (PCSG) announcing their 2025 mid-year plans. This includes a significant expansion of their headquarters, as well as new hiring for multiple positions within the organization.
Professional Coin Grading Service (www.PCGS.com) a division of leading collectibles grading and authentication company Collectors Universe, Inc., goes into the heart of 2025 by moving into a much larger headquarters space, hiring for a multitude of company positions, and preparing for educational appearances at a major numismatic conference. It’s all part of a period of continued success for PCGS, which sees buoyant numbers of submissions across all its platforms and an increasing presence overseas. Furthermore, PCGS-graded coins achieved 28 of the 30 highest prices paid for coins that crossed the block at United States auctions last year, further cementing the brand as an industry leader.
“We are thrilled to see PCGS thriving even during times of economic uncertainty,” said PCGS President Stephanie Sabin. “Nobody has a crystal ball on what any of the current events mean for our industry, but we do know that no matter what the economic outlook, numismatic collectors and dealers still want the very best for their coins and banknotes. So, that’s why they entrust us with their collectibles, regardless of their value. Indeed, the best coins always have a way of ending up in PCGS holders.”
The solid demand for PCGS grading has resulted in an increasing number of submissions, and this has led to a recent expansion of PCGS Headquarters and a hiring blitz. “We want enthusiastic, detail-oriented individuals who are passionate about coins and banknotes, and are hoping to build a successful career doing what they love,” Sabin added. As PCGS continues growing, the company is preparing to send some of its most knowledgeable coin experts to the American Numismatic Association Summer Seminar. The annual educational conference takes place this year in Colorado Springs, Colorado, from June 21 through July 3. Look for seminars on coin grading hosted by Steve Feltner and Kyle C. Knapp, as well as a session on world coin grading by Jay Turner and Dylan Dominguez. PCGS Education Coordinator Abigail Zechman will serve as a counselor.
