The following is a press release from Numismatic Guaranty Company (NGC) announcing special labels for the upcoming DC coin releases from the United States Mint. CGC will also have special labels that have been officially licensed from the comic company.
The announcement that DC fans have been waiting for is finally here! For the first time ever, collectors can add the power of their favorite DC Super Heroes to comics and cards graded by Certified Guaranty Company® (CGC®) and coins graded by Numismatic Guaranty Company® (NGC®)! CGC and NGC are offering all-new officially licensed DC custom certification labels that prominently showcase legendary DC comic book characters like Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman and the Justice League of America.
Featuring iconic DC characters that have inspired generations, the first release of DC labels is now available for eligible comics and cards submitted to CGC in both Universal (blue) and CGC Signature Series (yellow) as well as eligible coins and medals submitted to NGC, including the highly anticipated US Mint DC Super Heroes coin program launching this summer. Across the collecting universe, there is no better way to personalize a collection than with labels that reflect the power and legacy of the legendary DC Universe!
These labels will only be available for a limited time, so don’t miss the opportunity to add a DC label — or labels! — to your collection. Custom labels can be added to any grading or ReHolder submission of collectibles featuring the DC character depicted on the label for just $8 per collectible.
For submissions to CGC, simply start a new submission for comics or cards, select your grading tier and any add-ons, search for your DC collectible and then click the custom label box. Once that’s set, scroll through CGC’s custom labels and choose among the exciting DC label options, and keep checking back as there are more to come!
For the coins and medals being submitted to NGC, start a new submission, select the Special Label box and write the name of the special label you would like. (Watch for future announcements about NGC’s special label options and submission instructions for the US Mint’s Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman coins and medals that will be available in 2025.)
