Good news this morning for collectors of the popular Silver American Eagle coins from the US Mint. The upcoming uncirculated 2019-W, which is set for release on May 29, 2019, will have no production limits and no household limits on purchases. That means you can buy as many as you want for your own collection and gifts for others. This will be a great way for current collectors of the series to add to their collection.
The only remaining question is what the cost of the 2019-W silver American Eagle will be when it is released. That is due to the fact that the spot price of the coin hasn’t been determined by the US Mint yet. The silver Eagles price’s are determined by the spot price plus a premium.
If the 2018-W silver American Eagle is any indication, we should expect a price of around $47 per coin. The 2018 is still on sale at the mint for $46.95. It will remain available until the 2019 is released or when stock is depleted, whichever occurs first.
When the 2019-W will be available at this link when they go on sale. That will be May 29, 2019 at Noon Eastern, 8:00 am Pacific.
