Today’s Deal is a great chance to start collecting a coin series from the beginning. The American Innovation dollar is set to be released this year and will go through 2032, celebrating an innovation or inventor from each state and U.S. Territories. You can read about the series in this Coin History article.
However, in 2018 a collectors kick-off coin was released, celebrating the signing of the first patent in the country by George Washington. Right now, SmyrnaCoin on their Amazon storefront has the P & D 2018 Innovation Dollars available for $6.99 (plus $2.99 shipping). That breaks down to $3.50 each, less than the $5 book value for this coin.

The Obverse of the 2018 American Innovation Dollar coin features a striking image of the Statue of Liberty while the Reverse highlights the first patent in the United States which features the signature of George Washington.
The Innovation dollars will start rolling out this year with coins for Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Georgia slated to be released. They will only be released by the Mint and not (for now at least) released into general circulation.
