The United States Mint has announced it will be attending the upcoming Florida United Numismatics, or FUN Show, next week in Orlando, Florida. The convention is being hold January 9-12, 2020 at the Orange County Convention Center. Admission to the event is free.
The United States Mint and the Bureau of Engraving and Printing will be sharing booth 144 on the convention show floor. The Mint has indicated that products will be available to purchase as well as free educational seminars for collectors.
Attendance by the Mint and the BEP are common at the big national Numismatic conventions such as the FUN Show as well as NGC’s World’s Fair of Money.
As to which products will be available at the Mint’s booth, that is unclear. It likely to be some of the new 2020 products, 3 of which will be available prior to the show. It is also possible that a few remaining 2019 products will make their way to the show floor – but that assumes there are any still available. As readers know, production outside of circulating coinage has all-but stopped for the Mint in 2019.
