The United States Mint will open sales of the 2020 America the Beautiful Quarter Proof Set today. Sales will begin promptly at Noon Eastern, 9:00 AM Pacific. The set will be priced at $18.50 and can be purchased directly from the Mint at this link.
The set will include a proof specimen from the San Francisco Mint of all five of the America the Beautiful Quarters set to be released in 2020. As a reminder, these will be for the following historical sites:
- National Park of American Samoa
- Weir Farm National Historic Site
- Salt River Bay National Historical Park and Ecological Preserve
- Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park
- Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve
Each set will come with a Certificate of Authenticity from the Mint.
While the first America the Beautiful Quarter for 2020 is set to be released in February for the National Park of American Samoa, the rest of this year’s ATB quarters will be released throughout the year. That makes this set the first opportunity to actually see all the designs for the year in one place.
As with previous years, the 2020 American the Beautiful Quarter Proof Set has no production or mintage limit. Equally, there is no purchase limit for households. That means you can buy as many as you want of these sets throughout 2020.
Finally, as mentioned in a previous post, you can enroll in the Enrollment Program for this proof set from the Mint. That means you are assured to be one of the first to get these sets each year when they are released. Note also that you can designate the number of sets you want when you enroll and all of them will be shipped to you at once.
