The Citizens Coinage Advisory Committee (CCAC) will hold its next public meeting via teleconference on Tuesday and Wednesday, September 22 and 23, 2020. CCAC, which normally held its meetings in the United States Mint’s offices in Washington, D.C., moved their meetings to teleconference earlier this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The last CCAC meeting was held back in June.
The September meeting will have a busy schedule with reviews of no less than four numismatic items on the announced agenda. These are to include:
- Review & discussion of the candidate designs for the United States Army Silver Medal
- Review & discussion of the candidate designs for the National Law Enforcement Memorial Commemorative coins
- Review & discussion of the candidate designs for three of the five Hidden Figures Congressional Gold Medals
- Review & discussions of the candidate designs for the David J. Ryder United States Mint Director Medal
The CCAC meetings are set for Tuesday, September 22, 2020 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM Eastern then again on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM Eastern. The meetings are open to the public and you can listen in by calling (888) 330-1716, access code 1137147.
