The United States Mint will begin sales of the 2021 Proof Set later today. The 7-coin set will go on sale at Noon Eastern, 9:00 AM Pacific. The set will be available exclusively on the Mint’s website and is priced at $32.00 for 2021.
The 2021 Proof Set will feature all of the circulating coins from the United States Mint including the Tuskegee Airmen America the Beautiful Quarter as well as the upcoming Crossing the Delaware 2021 Washington Quarter. All the coins will feature the “S” Mint Mark from the San Francisco Mint, will come in two lenses, and come with the Mint’s Certificate of Authenticity (CoA). Here’s a rundown of the coins that will be in this year’s Proof Set:
- 2021-S Lincoln Cent
- 2021-S Jefferson Nickel
- 2021-S Roosevelt Dime
- 2021-S Tuskegee Airmen America the Beautiful Quarter
- 2021-S Crossing the Delaware Reverse Washington Quarter
- 2021-S Kennedy Half Dollar
- 2021-S Native American Dollar
As is normally the case on each annual proof set, there is no production limit on the sets nor is there a purchase limit per household. The sets will remain available throughout the year so if you can’t pick it up now, you should be able to later in 2021.
If you are enrolled in the Mint’s Enrollment Program for the annual proof sets, you should have received an email this morning letting you know that your order has been placed.
I still believe that $32 for a 7 coin set is expensive and now I see that the 7 coin Silver Proof Set is priced at $105 with Silver heading Down?
Not sure if I am going to purchase the Silver Set.
I’ll get both. I do every year.
