After outcry from collectors, the United States Mint has lowered the household limit on the upcoming 2021 Morgan and Peace Dollars. When the Mint originally announced the pre-order dates for the coins, they had set the household limit to 25 coins. Many collectors took to Twitter and other social media platforms taking the Mint to task. With such a high household limit coupled with limited production, there was a real possibility many collectors would be left out of the opportunity to buy one of the coins.
In response, the Mint Tweeted this morning that it has lowered the limit from 25 to 10, a far more reasonable number and one that is more inline with other products the Mint has offered in the past.
Here then is the revised time table for the release of the 2021 Morgan and Peace Dollars, pricing, and the new household limit.

Still a joke with all the re-sellers out there
I’m pleased however that the Mint listened and lowered it. Gives folks a fighting chance – something that was not going to happen at 25 coins.
