As a result of their meeting held yesterday, the Citizens Coinage Advisory Committee (CCAC) has released the candidate designs for the 2023 American Innovation Dollars. In 2023, four American Innovation Dollars are set for release honoring Ohio, Louisiana, Indiana, and Mississippi. The American Innovation Dollar coin came about through legislation passed in 2018 and is set to run through the year 2032. In all, there will be 57 coins released in the program with the first one released on December 14, 2018. That coin, however, was an introductory coin fundamentally to show the coin off to the public and was never released for circulation. The program kicked off in earnest in 2019 and will continue with at least four coins being released though 2032.

Mississippi
Likely that this year or early 2022, after review of all of the candidate designs, a design will be selected for each state and will be the Reverse design for the 2023 American Innovation Dollars. As readers know, the American Innovation Dollar has a common Obverse of the Statue of Liberty.
