The United States Mint has released its weekly numismatic sales report for the seven-day period ending on Sunday, February 13, 2022. The report covers the previous seven days in numismatic product sales by the Mint and is separate from the bullion sales report. In this week’s report, the Mint indicated that an impressive 55,479 numismatic products were sold. This is up from the just over 10,000 products sold according to last week’s report. In a somewhat unique event, the top ten selling products for the United States Mint were all released in the last week.
Taking the top selling spot for the week ending February 13 where the 2022 Native American Dollar 25-Coin Roll from Philadelphia. 11,322 were reported to have been sold by the Mint in just a few days of availability. It was followed closely in second by the same roll from the Denver Mint. That roll reported 10,141 sold.
The third through sixth top selling products for the Mint were the new Maya Angelou American Women Quarter, the first of five quarters to be released in the series this year. The 3-roll set, consisting of a 40-coin roll from the Philadelphia, Denver and San Francisco Mints, was the third best seller for the Mint last week overall and the most popular product for the Maya Angelou Quarter. 7,592 of the 3-roll sets were sold while the 2-Roll set was close behind with 5,928 sold.
