The United States Mint has released its weekly numismatic sales report for the seven-day period ending on Sunday, July 24, 2022. The report covers the previous seven days in numismatic product sales by the Mint and is separate from the bullion sales report. This week’s report shows that the Mint sold just 9,820 numismatic products to collectors and investors. The low sales numbers reflect the lack of any new releases from the Mint in the past week.
Take the top sales slot last week was the 2022 Proof Set. According to the Mint’s report, 6,112 sets were sold in the past week, putting its total sales at 293,062 for the year. A distant second top seller was the 2022 Silver Proof Set. The premium annual set had reported sales of 2,542 sets while the 2021 Proof Set was the third top seller with 1,108 units sold.
The fourth and fifth top sellers were silver American Eagle products. the 2022-W Proof had sales of 957 coins while the uncirculated variety had sales of 779 coins.
