For all of the USCoinNews readers in the United States and Canada, I wish you a safe and fun Labor Day (or Labour Day as the case may be in Canada) holiday. Labor Day is a federal holiday in the United States celebrated on the first Monday in September in any given year to honor and recognize the American labor movement and the work and contributions of laborers to the development and achievements of the United States.
In Canada, Labour Day is an annual holiday to celebrate the achievements of workers. Labour Day has its origins in the labour union movement, specifically the eight-hour day movement, which advocated eight hours for work, eight hours for recreation, and eight hours for rest.
USCoinNews will continue its regular programming tomorrow. I, too, will be taking a rest and enjoying the day. I can’t thank each of you who visit the site, leave comments, send stuff to the Mail Bag, and generally interact with me on social platforms. This site is a labor of love for me, but all of you make it worthwhile. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Today is about friends, family, and probably a nice bottle of wine too!
Enjoy Numipeeps!
