The United States Mint has released its weekly Numismatic Product Sales Report for the seven-day period ending Sunday, December 11, 2022. The report covers numismatic product sales, such as commemorative coins and annual sets, by the Mint. It is separate from the bullion sales report. According to this week’s report, the Mint sold 17,483 numismatic products to investors and collectors in the past week.
For 2022, the United States Mint has sold 11.322 million numismatic products.
Annual product sets continued to be the top selling products for the Mint. Six of the top ten selling products for the United States Mint last week were annual sets, with five of those occupying the top five in sales. The top seller was the 2022 Uncirculated Coin Set with 4,547 sets sold, followed by the 2022 Silver Proof Set with 3,200 sets sold. The 2022 American Innovation Dollar Reverse Proof Set was the third top seller while the 2022 Limited Edition Silver Proof Set was fourth. Rounding out the top five was the standard America Innovation Dollar Proof Set for this year with 736 sets sold.
