The United States Mint has released its weekly Numismatic Product Sales Report for the seven days ending Sunday, January 29, 2023. The report covers numismatic product sales, such as commemorative coins and annual sets, by the Mint. It is separate from the bullion sales report.
This week’s report shows that the Mint sold 3,263 numismatic products to collectors over the past seven days. While this is a marked improvement over last week’s sales figures, it is still lackluster. That should change in next week’s report as the first 2023 products to be released by the Mint, the Ohio American Innovation Dollar will be in that report. Looking further into the report, seven of the top ten selling products were annual sets.
According to the Mint’s report, the 2022 Uncirculated Set was the top seller for the Mint last week. Five hundred ninety-five of the sets were sold, edging out the 2022 Silver Proof Set in second, with reported sales of 373. Rounding out the top three was the premium 2022 Limited Edition Silver Proof Set, with 252 sets sold.
