The United States Mint has released its weekly Numismatic Product Sales Report for the seven days ending March 5, 2023. The report covers numismatic product sales by the Mint, such as commemorative coins and annual sets. It is separate from the bullion sales report.
According to this week’s report, the United States Mint sold 375,829 numismatic products to collectors in the past week, an impressive jump from last week’s sales total. The release of the 2023-W American Eagle Silver Proof drove the uptick in sales. That product, released last week, accounted for 335,209 of the sales total. This was followed distantly by the 2023 Congratulations set, with 34,790 sets sold. Rounding out the top three in sales was the 2023 Uncirculated Coin Set, with 1,314 sets sold. The fourth top seller was the 40-coin roll of the 2023-W American Eagle Silver Proof, while the 2022 American Liberty Silver Medal was the fifth top seller with 682 medals sold.
