The United States Mint has released its weekly Numismatic Product Sales Report for the seven days ending April 2, 2023. The report covers numismatic product sales by the Mint, such as commemorative coins and annual sets. It is separate from the bullion sales report. According to this week’s report, The Mint sold 32,756 numismatic products in the past week, largely dominated by the Mint’s newest product releases.
Four of last week’s top five sales totals were products that the Mint released last week, four of which were part of the gold American Eagle Proof releases. The 1/10th-ounce gold-proof American Eagle was the top seller, closely followed by the four-coin set of gold-proof American Eagles (1-Ounce, 1/2-Ounce, 1/25th-Ounce, 1/10th-Ounce). Rounding out the top was the 2023 American Women Quarter Program Proof Set. It added another 1,869 sets to its sales total since its release two weeks ago, putting total sales at 42,229.
