The United States Mint has released its weekly Numismatic Product Sales Report for the seven days ending July 9, 2023. The report covers numismatic product sales by the Mint, such as commemorative coins and annual sets. It is separate from the bullion sales report. According to this week’s report, the Mint had lackluster sales of just 2,564 products. This was skewed slightly by the over 3,000 set return or correction of sales data for the 2023 Proof Set.
Topping sales for the United States Mint last week was the 2023-W American Eagle silver uncirculated coin. The Mint reported that 1,252 of the one-ounce silver coins were sold last week, pushing total sales for the coin to 118,702. It was followed by the 2022 Uncirculated Set with 715 sets sold and the 2023 Congratulations Set with 269 sets sold.
