The United States Mint has released its weekly Numismatic Product Sales Report for the seven days ending Sunday, November 5, 2023. The report covers numismatic product sales by the Mint, such as commemorative coins and annual sets. It is separate from the bullion sales report. According to the Mint’s report, 4,393 numismatic products were sold in the past week. Sales totals were higher than the final total, but the Mint reported over 11,000 2023-S American Eagle Proof coins were returned. These could be actual returns or miscounts on initial sales reports.
Last week’s top-selling numismatic product for the Mint was the 2023 Proof Set. The report shows that an additional 6,726 sets were sold in the week, putting total sales at 323,396.
