Via email, the United States Mint announced it will be holding a first-ever Vault Sale today. The special event will begin at Noon Eastern on the Mint’s site. To access the vault, you will need to use this link. The Mint is clear on the page for the event that this is not a discount driven event. Rather, it is an opportunity to purchase older items from the Mint that collectors may have missed the first time they were available.
The Mint has put a strict one-order per household limit in place.

To ensure fairness, a strict household order limit of one per household will be in force for the first 24 hours of our Vault Sale. We will also deploy our virtual waiting room to provide a smooth shopping experience. Even though inventory is limited for these in-demand products, they will be sold at regular prices.
