The United States Mint has released its weekly Numismatic Product Sales Report for the seven days ending Sunday, November 26, 2023. The report covers numismatic product sales by the Mint, such as commemorative coins and annual sets. It is separate from the bullion sales report. According to the Mint’s report, 1,592 numismatic products were sold in the past week, which is misleading. The Mint saw significant corrections or returns last week, most notably a 16,488 unit drop for the 2023 Morgan and Peace Dollar Reverse Proof Set, which drove the net-new sales figure down.
With that in mind, the top-selling product for the Mint last week was the 2023 Proof Set. According to the Mint’s report, 7,766 sets were sold last week, far outpacing the second top seller, the 2023 Silver Proof Set. The 2023-S American Eagle Silver Proof was among the top three, with 1,472 coins reportedly sold.
